The Predictive Index – Behavioral Assessment

I feel it’s important that you’re provided some information regarding the following report.  During the interview process with a prior employer, I was required to complete a lengthy multiple choice questionnaire, known as “The Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment” (aka PERSONALITY TEST by 99.9% of job candidates).  I believe the results are supposed to help Hiring Managers narrow down the number of job candidates, based on the requirements for that specific role.  Since I was applying for the Community Manager position, the assessment was “manager-based.”

The results were provided to me by a supervisor about 6 months into the job.  Honestly, I was thrilled to have the results and was very eager to see the validity of the data.  The only thing I can say after reading the report is “WOW!”  It was if all my previous supervisors got together and wrote a 3-page summary of my work ethic.  The information couldn’t have been more accurate.

Many people always ask why I created this website, in which I simply respond with “Why not?”  I’m passionate about innovation and figuring out ways to improve something.  That said, look at the 2nd bullet point under the final section “Management Strategies” of the report.  I’m 100% a believer in these assessments now and no longer a skeptic.

By the way, I’m not sure how to read the 3 graphs in the beginning.  When I have a chance, I’ll do some research and share the results.
